C = January D = February E = March F = April G = May H = June I = July J = August K = September L = October M = November. Oct 25, 2017 Hello everyone, I have a Golden Eagle D104 and I thought it would be nice to follow the serial numbers and locations. I am curious as. Copper Talk » Product Reviews » Microphones » Why did they stop making d 104's. The d104 was one of astatic's most popular mics. And serial number.
Hi, I acquired an 'Astatic Golden Eagle D104 base microphone' as part of a trade for some audio studio equipment. The mic is in good physical condition, and seems to work fine (tested it). It takes a 9V battery in the base for the preamplifier, and has a 6 wire coiled cord. The mic looks like a lollipop, with a bald eagle etched into the back of the mic head. The mic base includes a serial numbered tag, as well as a CB Radio 'callsign' plate. The mic is entirely gold metal.
Any idea what this is worth to a CB enthusiast? Guess it would look great sitting next to a big CB base station -- it certainly shined up nicely with a little car chrome polish and a soft cotton cloth.
Thanks for any insight, Joe carl hillier 00:00.
