Hi mate have you tried your original win 8 driver install dvd if you have one just re-install it under win 7 compatability or trie the new driver from the hp web site here's a link - same again just re-install it under win 7 compatability if ya don't know how to do that it's easy right click the file click the property's tab then click compatability and the win 7 version it should set you straight hope that help's.
