The specs on you amp are 30x2 into 4 ohms stereo 40x2 into 2 ohms stereo 80x1 into 4 ohms bridged Since you have the amp bridged and running to a single 4 ohm svc sub, unless it is a 8 or a 10 in sub, you do not have enuff power to run hardly anything. But if you do happen to have a smaller sub and are experiencing this overheating problem, I would be sure and double check the ground on the amp. Make sure there is a good connection at the amp, the ground is 3 ft or less from the amp, and the metal is fresh ground that you are connecting to. I would venture to say your problem is in your grounds. Hope this helps.
