Course Requirements: • USPA membership • USPA B-license. Since January 1 2013 USPA requires all candidates to hold a USPA License.
2016-2017 Instructional Rating Manual. This publication is a required reference for candidates in the Coach, AFF, IAD, Static-Line, and Tandem instructional rating courses, and it includes all the information for the Instructor Examiner rating. You need a current IRM (Instructional Rating Manual) and SIM (Skydivers Information Manual) for the course. Current means not older then 24 months. You can order the books from USPA. There is a Coach Proficiency card in the Coach section of the IRM. Number 2 on the card, assisting in a first jump class, is a pre.

For those who show up without the test completed or do not score at least 80% on the first test, a 100% score will be required on the test that is taken during the course. The IRM Coach exam will get graded during class. You must score at least 80% to pass.
